Gaurav is a seasoned, CBAP® certified hands-on Business Analyst with more than 23 years of IT industry experience and over 14 years of experience executing large Business Analysis assignments, including working on both Waterfall and Agile projects.

He has conducted several professional and in-house training sessions on Business Analysis and Enterprise Content Management.

​

Gaurav holds other professional certifications as well, such as Certified Product Manager® (from AIPMM), Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) and Certified Dell EMC Specialist - Content Management Application Architecture & Systems Architecture.

After obtaining his B.Tech (Hons.) in Chemical Engineering from the internationally recognised IIT Kharagpur in 2000, he started his career as a software programmer before transitioning to software and solution design/architecture and eventually to business analysis. 

​

In 2006, his book "Web Content Management with Documentum" was published by UK-based Packt Publishing.

Over the last several years, Gaurav has worked on a multitude of large Business Analysis assignments for Australian and International clients and has solved complex business problems by scoping, understanding and defining the business/stakeholder requirements and identifying fit-for-purpose solutions.

 

Gaurav has had diverse work experience, including with startups, not-for-profit organisations, private and commercial entities, and both state and federal government organisations.

 

His areas of expertise include Feasibility Studies, Business Process Optimisation, Software Development, Enterprise Change Management, Product Management, Digital Transformation, Data Migration and Enterprise System Upgrades/Uplifts.
